Why does a Gofile tab open briefly before my download?

Gofile's download servers check a browser cookie before serving files. We open the folder page for a few seconds so Gofile sets that cookie, then close it automatically.

Can I download a whole folder as a ZIP?

Not from the web — browsers block it (cross-origin restrictions). The free extension downloads entire folders as a ZIP with the folder structure preserved, in one click.

Does it work with password-protected links?

Protected folders are detected and flagged, but you'll enter the password on Gofile directly. We never bypass Gofile's protections.
